The Golden Compass

November 30, 2007 · Leave a Comment

So I just started reading the Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. I’ve been meaning to read it forever, but with the movie coming out soon, I thought I’d better get to it. I’m enjoying it so far, although fantasy is not really my genre. I’m sure a lot of you have read it and are looking forward to seeing the film.

Have you read the book? If you have, without spoiling the book for those of us that haven’t finished it yet, what did you like about the book? Was it the characters? The setting? Something about the plot? Or, if you didn’t like it, why not? Are you looking forward to the movie?

Let’s talk about books!
