Teens Read Speak this Monday

Join us for a discussion of Laurie Halse Anderson’s novel Speak at the monthly Teens Read book group this Monday, September 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Dodson Room (in back of the Children’s Library).

The general questions (under Teens Read at the top of the page) are a great place to start thinking about this book. It’s really easy to plug in Melinda and the supporting cast to open up the internal discussion that will carry over into the book group. I’ll bring more questions on Monday, and you are welcome to, too! See you there!

Thanks for those of you who showed up last Tuesday (9/9) to check out the hair, talk to the Herald and BTV10 and get your photos snapped. As soon as I get the last two release forms, I’ll post those pictures on here (hint hint!)   BTW – I love my hair!

This Tuesday, September 9th, I will be dying my hair because you guys read and reviewed a crazy amount this summer (450 or so reviews submitted). Please come by the TeenSpace at the Central Library at around 4:30 pm to see what you’ve done to me. BTV10 and the Bellingham Herald will be there, so come take your due credit.

I’ll be posting before and after pictures on here, but you know the color will look better in person!
