Games Night

Bellingham Public Library hosts monthly games nights in the Lecture Room at the Central Library. From 6 to 7:30 pm, teens (age 12 to 18) are invited to play/watch others play Dance Dance Revolution (on arcade quality metal pads), wii games, and more traditional games such as charades or Apples to Apples. Soda and pizza provided.

Tournaments
BPL hosts quarterly teen video game tournaments.

Our next tournament will be:

SSB Brawl Tournament – Saturday, November 14, 2009
Sign-in begins at 12:45 p.m.; Game play starts by 1:30 p.m.
Space is limited to 30 entrants
Double elimination qualifying rounds to single elimination finals
Co-sponsored by Reset Games and Little Caesar’s Pizza

Since May 2008, over 140 people have watched and played in our quarterly tournaments. The May 2009 SSB Brawl tournament featured 28 teens battling it out for over $65 worth of prizes. Shout out to the 8 girls who competed. Woot!
